This Rig and its composition was originally to provide West Coast Anglers with more reliability around structure and lessen cutoffs. As an added benefit it helps minimize abrasion from sharks with tendencies to roll in the line or that have extra rough skin. Paired with medium and larger sized baits this rig is well suited for sharks in the 6'-10' plus size range. This Leader is legal in California Texas and Florida.
