This leader has been designed to keep baits in line with the rig for maximum casting distance. Simply suspend bottom hook off weight clip and cast. Once airborne, or upon contact with the water it will separate from the weight. Then, allow the bait to settle, reel in any slack and you're set. Great for any surf fish species, eels, rays, and smaller sharks. Having a second hook with a tag end helps to keep the hook exposed and secure in larger baits. Best paired with 9'-12' rod and spider weights. Legal in California.
